Q: Why would I want a wedding DVD invitation?

A: Having a DVD as your invitation gives you so much more than just sending a standard invitation on card. Not only can you personally invite your guests with a video invitation, you can have all the details for your wedding contained on one disk. Details such as the complete wedding list, dates, times, maps, directions and meal menu can all be stored on your disk and accessed easily using a very simple menu. Q: How does the DVD work?

A: It works like a standard DVD in either a DVD player or on a Computer. Our interactive menu system is easy to navigate using your DVD remote. Invitations are also printed traditionally on the front so no one misses out.

Q: Not all my guests will have a Computer. How can they play the invitation?

A: The DVD will work in standard DVD players connected to a TV, as well as computers.

Q: Will my elderly aunt or uncle be able to use the DVD?

A: The invitation works like any standard DVD you buy or rent and can be used in exactly the same way with a remote control. Again all details are printed onto the front of the disk for them to read if they are really stuck, however usually there will be a neighbour or someone who can show them how to use it.

Q: How does the evening invitation work?

A: Basically we take out the elements that refer to the service and meal and leave your wedding lists and maps to the reception in. You can choose to do another video inviting your evening guests if you want to.

Q: What happens after I have ordered?

A: We will collect all relevant information from you regarding the wedding... pictures, video etc.

Q: How long does it take you to complete the disks?

A: Once we have compiled a design draft with the information supplied to us you will be sent a proof to check and sign off. This is obviously variable, depending on the amount of pictures / video design requirements. Once you have confirmed you are happy with the design the disks will be produced. Once completed the disks can be sent to you or you can collect them.

Q: Can I help design the disks? What if I don’t like them?

A: You will be consulted on all relevant information such as, wedding details, pictures, videos, what style of text, background images and what sort of background music you want and how the disk itself will look. If our initial design is not to your taste just speak to us and we will make the necessary changes.

Q: What happens if I want something changed on the disk after I have signed the disk off for production?

A: If the production has begun and you require changes you will be charged for the wasted materials and time spent.

Q: What happens if there is a problem with the disks?

A: We check every single disk personally after production to make sure that there are no problems with playback. We use only –r DVDs which are the most widely compatible disks and work in most DVD players.

Q: I can’t come to see you, I do not live locally can I arrange it all on the phone and post / email the pictures and videos to you?

A: Yes no problem, you can post a CD / DVD with all your information on it or email us the information.

Q: How much are the invitations?

A: £3.00 per disk for main and evening invitations. A design fee of £150 is charged for designing your DVD.

Q: How much is the deposit? When do I need to pay it?

A: The deposit is £100. No work whatsoever will be carried out or entertained until the deposit has been paid / cleared. You can pay after your initial consultation.

Q: What does the package include?

A: All setup and design of the invitation including disk cover, printed colour images on the front of the disks and cardboard disk pouches for posting with guest addresses printed on the front. Stamps are not included in this price.
